Hello Doug
>I've got a report with veritical lines in the detail band that extend slightly below the fields, then a horizontal line closes the box (is just outside the detail band). The report prints great 99.99% of the time. Once in a while the last record on a page prints (the fields do) but the vertical lines don't, neither does the bottom line (bottom of the box) for that detail record. Is there a formula or something I can use like MS-Word's "Keep together" option?

I've had a similar problem where I was printing three memo fields in three columns. The columns were separated with vertical lines. The properties of the line were: Fixed relative to bottom of band, and Stretch relative to height of band. When a band was split across two pages, these lines would print only on the second page (of that record's detail band), Changing the Fixed relative to to top of band made the lines print only on the first page (of that record's detail band). I've not tried to exterminate that bug yet; I wonder if making the lines Float would help?

Suggestion for you: rather than a line, use a rectangle control, and play with the properties. That way you're only dealing with one control, instead of four sides.
