>There are verical lines seperating columns of data in the detail band. These lines extend below the fields but remain in the detail band. There is a horizontal line in the footer band. Rarely, but some times (due to data expanding to more than one line in the detail fields) the number of records printed on a page increases and the last one prints without any of the veritical column seperating lines and without the horizontal line.

There isn't a specific flag to do that .. but .. you can create a Data Grouping based on RECNO() and put all your stuff in the Data Grouping Footer band instead of the Detail band. There is a place in the Data Grouping section where you can tell it to start a new page if less than x" left.
