Yesterday my manager copied DBC directory from Live to Development server and by this action overwrote the changes, I made yesterday in Job Templates, etc. Our Network Administrator tried to restore from Wednesday night backtape (so, my yesterday's work would be gone anyway), but the tape was jummed.

Hi Nadya,
I relied on network backups until our Mr. Net brought a server down by backuping everything on the hard disk instead of the tape!
I have always a personal backup with me. I rely on 250M Zip disks and use SmartxChange from LAPLINK to synchronize my ZIP with the hard disk. It's pretty fast and I always have 'a last known good version' at hand.
