I'm very sorry to hear that. My dad's parents both died from cancer and my mom's sister was just diagnosed with breast cancer as well. It looks like, fortuntely, that my aunt's operation was successfull. Its hopefull to see that in the 8 years between my grandmother's death and my aunt's diagnosis it looks we've made some progress.
