>Be careful when doing this. AFAIK, reinstalling from scratch will make you lose all security settings, addresses and other. Each NT server has a unique ID. This very important for the server's identification and it will be different each time you reinstall Win NT.

I'm really not sure that can improve performances on a server.
I think Rick have talk about a desktop computer where he install a lot of programs and/or shareware, change settings, etc. for testing purpose.
In that case a big clean up is the better solution to retreive perfomances.
