I have now been trying to use the OLE DB SQL connection instead of the OLE DB ODBC but I cannot get it working with InterDev it always generates the same error message -

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server (0x80040E21)
The requested properties cannot be supported.
/test1/_ScriptLibrary/Recordset.ASP, line 636

The server is running Ntserver 4 SP 6, SQL 7 SP 3 and MDAC 2.7.
