I'm trying to create a VFP cursor using the SQLEXEC command. The data is from a shrink-wrap application that uses Paradox tables. Basically, what I'm seeing is if a user is logged into the application, SQLEXEC returns an error and does not create a cursor. If no users are logged in, the SQLEXEC executes successfully and I get a cursor.

What seems really odd is the fact that if an ADO connection is made over the exact same ODBC connection, a recordset is successfully created regardless of whether users are in the system or not.

Does this make sense? I'd really not like to go the ADO route, if possible.
