Not getting expected results from Crystal Visual Linking using a Join option.

Table 1 has 1,2,3,4,5 in an ID field.

Table 2 has 2,4 in an ID field.

I linked this one ID field and that's all.

Whether I do an Equal Join, a Left Join or a Right Join I always get 2,4 on my report. I would like to get 1,2,3,4,5 on my report and show 1,3,5 as having 0 records and 2,4 as having 1 record.

What am I missing or doing wrong? Seems simple enough to me?!?
