>Thanks for asking for comments. I would like to take this on, I think it is as essential as some of the other books out there. And mainly to compile all the great tips, techniques, source and experiences of those of you that have learned how to exploit this tool. I'm only an infant programmer, but I have 20+ years experience as a project coordinator and manager. If those with the knowledge are willing, and the interest in the outcome is present in the community, I will do my part.

Hi Matthew,

After all materials would be collected, the technical editting would be required. For non-English speaker authors it would be required to correct some grammar mistakes in these articles. It would not be hard to do, but just keep this in mind...

Also somebody has to carefully read all materials and run each code snippet to avoid possible typos and errors in the code...

>>Sure, are you serios about the starting this book-writing? For sure I will participate, and I already have a few articles and FAQ about grids written at this site, as well as I have much more in the pocket. Keep me informed on the progress, I'm realu interested to work as author for such book.
>>
>>I'm also sending a separate message here to ask if such book would be good for VFP community to get more opinion.

>>>I just got back from hentzenwerke.com looking at the requirements. There is legwork to be done, rounding up the authors, tech editor, input from the community about the thrust of the book. At my current skill level I feel that I can manage the project and do some copy edit, but not author or tech edit. I'll play with the proposal over the next few weeks and see about contacting the big guns.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
