I forgot to mention something...
The problem occurs when the report is sent directly to the printer (report form myreport to print), but when it is sent to a preview (report form myreport preview) and then sent to printer from the button on the toolbar it results ok.

Any comments??

If the printers are Hewlett Packard then get the "enhanced version" of the printer driver. Also you will need to review the printer information stored in the ".FRX" file in the Expr, tag, tag2 fields.
