>>>Hi All,
>>>I have a form that won't install all the way. I have a pdf.ocx on it. If I do the setup wizard with out the pdf.ocx, it installs great. But with the pdf.ocx, I get an error that says it can't register the executable. Anyone have any ideas?
>>
>>The PDF.OCX is probably dependent on the proper installation of Adobe Acrobat Reader; I'd try firing the Adobe Acrobat install, available for download from
www.adobe.com separately from the Setup Wizard install - perhaps as a post-setup executable. The current version is something like rp505eng.exe (this is the version that permits text searching of an Acrobat document.)

Does the Acrobat install work correctly? I'm guessing it does. I'm with Ed on this one, launch the Acrobat install from the VFP one. It's the only way to be sure you get everything installed correctly. The PDF ActiveX control is flaky enough to begin with that I'd want to be absolutely positive everything gets installed correctly.
