I've spent some time with this code, and though it is not supposed to behave this way, it does. One of this cases.

Just a thought, could I do something to make the call asynchronous?

>I wouldn't think so. The script execution should run sequentially and your COM method call should be synchronous. The HTML output should contain the first response.write's output then the second. Script execution should stop and wait for your component's method to complete execution before continuing to the second response.write.
