Of those people that have a college degree in this country 13% work within his/her field. The other 87% work in an unrelated field. The value of higher education is an interesting topic.
By the way while in high school I taught myself how to read faster, which I mentioned perhaps 2 years ago. Interesting how applying the concepts from one book can have such a positive effect upon your life. I read at just over 1200 words a minute. President Kennedy they say could reat at 10,000 words a minute.
Speed reading has enabled me to read a good deal more than I would otherwise have had time for. We could argue the value of books as I have not found two authors who agree on the same topic and each one is "correct". What I have found is you must decide what "your truth is" and live it.
