That is exactly what my original point was in my first reply to the other thread on this. IMO, Barak did this to prove the PLO's goal is not peace but eradication. He proved it at the cost of his PM position, but has revealed Arafat for who he really is and believes. The Nobel Peace Prize he won in the 90s is a total joke.
