Dominic & Hector --
thanks for replies. i got a little more vicious and deleted
_everything_ from the Expr, Tag1, and Tag2 fields. at first i
thought that cured it.
i had installed the printer with the PostScript (PS) option.
when VFP tried to send to printer, it created some monstrously
huge spool file. i ended up un-installing and reinstall the printer
as PCL6 option. then it worked.
i appreciate the explanation about the COLOR & DRIVER attributes
in the Expr field. i'll be experimenting more with those, but
at least my users can print now.
