Not sure, frankly. Depends on what the app is doing. If the app is disk-intensive, a second processor could very well give the OS the CPU time it needs to do whatever "disk stuff" it needs to. I'd have to dig more deeply into the thread and the scenario to make an accurate determination.
I also misspoke when I said VFP is single-threaded. If you look in Task Manager, IIRC VFP 7.0 will show up to four threads running (VFP 6.0 will show two, as I recall). However, what I meant was that as far as the UI and user interaction is concerned, you get one thread. VFP should only benefit from multi-procs when the OS can make use of the extra CPU time.
