I've not been to Rome, but isn't it 'divided' in that there is Italy and The Vatican? Seems to work there. I know its different, but then so was Berlin.

It definitely would be better than conditions now at any rate! I met a young college-age gentleman last week from Jerusalem that came to America by himself and is living with friends in Fayetteville, NC. I was rather surprised that he would choose this area of all places in the U.S. to stay, but his friends are here. He came alone and left his family so at least one member of the family would be safe while things are so dangerous over there.
