If the field is in upper case, then the entire word is cropped when it stretches beyond the length available on the report. However, if the field is in lowercase or proper, then it works correctly using LEFT(). Has anyone else noticed this?

Tracy,
When you say the entire word is cropped, do you mean no part of the word is displayed or do you mean a portion of the word is displayed but it truncates the last part?
