I seem to recall this story, I believe you can read about it in the book of Mark (or Matthew), chapter 11 (?) maybe (sorry, don't have a Bible here). Anyway, if memory serves, right before Jesus entered Jerusalem, I seem to remember something about how He was hungry and approached a fig tree. Noticing that there were no figs on the tree, He started yelling at it, and then cursed it. Seems kinda maniacal to me? I personally wouldn't want to believe any predictions from a book that talks about how the Creator (or Son of) is a lunatic that cruises around picking fights with vegetation.

For that matter, He wasn't riding a donkey as He approached Jerusalem, but instead was walking. When He came within site, He had some followers trek ahead and steal a donkey from Jerusalem, which he then rode into town.
