Since I went to my web applications I have many back end data sources. Access and VFP are two of them. Access works will with small applications, but I have a system that queries (no update) 500,000 parents to 5,000,000 children. I dont think access can handle that. So back end religion does not matter too me. If the application is n-tier'd well enough, then the back end can change and my front end App would not care in the least.
