Ed, Ed, Ed. I was being facetious. Of course I have a swap file on that box (and a honkin' big one at that).

Depending on what considers "relatively inexpensive", my quad box was a reasonable US$20K. All of the above, and it came with a 12 drive hot-swappable external RAID (which we're using on another box). Twenty large is a good bit of coin, but not bad for what we got.

There's no "nyah" to it. I have no need for cars. If I need a sheet of plywood, Home Depot will rent me a truck for US$20. :-)
