We're trying to automate e-mails with attachments from GroupWise.

We have Novell NetWork and two servers: NT server - production
and Novell server - Development

We have GroupWise 5.5 installed as a default e-mail client. Several machines in the office are Mac and others are Windows95/Windows 98


We tried:
1) Use MapiMail class from Download section here. It worked fine with Develoment server, but crashed GroupWise and didn't send attachments on NT Server

2) MailWithGroupWise program (exploring GroupWise object internal model). It worked, but not reliably, e.g. in 10 e-mails about 2 may come without attachment

3) IDSMail - commercial software, which we bought. It has two problems:
1) Using internal names crashes GroupWise on MAC
2) If the e-mail address is not in GroupWise address book, the message would not be sent with 95% possibility, e.g it would be pending.

The last problem is the killer. Customer Support of IDSMail is not yet helpful.

So, the question is: does somebody have a success with automating GroupWise and what should we fix in our system to make it work?
