Charlie, I've read your cRose article and agree on the logic behind it (though I still use Hungarian in Fox), but I think in C# some type of notation is almost mandatory. Now, you don't need to use "this." to refer to an object or property on a Web Form and I've been thinking that the chances for confusion are much higher without some sort of notation to differentiate them.

FWIW, I make it a habit to always use this. even though I don't have to for that feeling of safety against the ambigouss.
