Thanks to all for the replies but unfortunately all my programs are not using compound indexes but compact (.idx) indexes. This is strange for me although I have both of the files with indexes but they don't optimize, but if I use the SQL with 'cust_id=varname' (field compare with variable name) they will optimize (partially).
I'm still looking for the answer.
