May be your problem has been solved yet because today is 30th March and you sent this qurey on 25th March, anyhow you are really in terrible situation because you have used approx. all troubleshooting steps. Can you tell me one thing that did you try on this machine anyother accounts if not then do it as well as tell me this work station resides in different domain or in the same domain. Second thing is that you don't have need to reinstall Windows 2000 Professional, I know you have saveral times installed outlook 2000 on it but get no possitive result. Third thing you can try to uninstall your complete office 2000 suit then reinstall it then you can check this account. Some times such type of problem occurs in Exchange Environment so you don't worry, I have also seen it savral times.
