I have major hours in Koinia Greek. The word "kurios" is translated to "Lord" and refers to the supreme deity only. The reflexive pronound 'autos' refers back to Kurios when it says "he". There is no doubt that Jesus told his diciples exactly where to find the mare and colt and what to say if someone asked what they were doing. The text doesn't say if anyone asked but it goes on to say why that event took place: to fullfil prophecy. Also, such a request would not have been out of place. All of Jeruselum was expecting to honor the sacrifical lamb by paving its way with palm branches as it was brought into the city. When Jesus came down that road riding a colt and rode over the branches meant for the lamb that was, annually, being led to the slaughter so that the sins of the Jews could be rolled ahead for another year, the crowd new exactly what Jesus was claiming to be: the Messiah. What they didn't understand was that while in prior years they only had their sins rolled ahead year to year by the sacrifice of a lamb, Jesus was offering himself as the sacrifice which doesn't postpone offering for sin, but pays for it.
