Per, if you update the parent table, by SELECTing it, even if you don't change the Parent record it will still re-set the record pointer in the child table to the first child record for that parent.
For example: Parent has 2 records, Per and Barbara. Per has 2 child records, Astrid and Ingrid. Barbara has 2 child records Steve and Sarah. If you switch from Per to Barbara, you will automatically be on the Steve record. However if you then move to Sarah and do a goto or similar call on the parent, Barbara, you will change back to Steve. Now change back to Per. Whether you were on Astrid or Ingrid doesn't matter, you will always return to Astrid, the first record.
