Hi!

Check you Virtual Memory settings in the system. VFP takes really a lot of memory, and when there are no enough memory, virtual memory takes significant role. I remember under W95 and W98 with no or little limitation for virtual memory and little of RAM I also got such weird behaviour. In addition, when components used in VFP permanently (such as AcxtiveX put on form in design time) reside somewhere in the network, or EXE is ran from nework, ad network is unstable (connection breaks time to time), Windows NT kills that applications automaticall with no any message. For example, try to open some EXE through network and then disconnect. This also might be a reson in your case.

>I used VFP6 sp5 and rest of client do well with it ( 10 or more different companies
>at different cities) I seems to me, that it might be something wrong in their Milenium
>The program is simply thrown out at casual places with mesages about memory protection
>This client worked before with our program at win98 for few months.

The professional level of programmer could be determined by level of stupidity of his/her bugs

It is not appropriate to say that question is "foolish". There could be only foolish answers. Everybody passed period of time when knows nothing about something.
