There are two kinds of error codes in VFP: internal (returned by FoxAPI functions) and external (returned by FoxPro command). _Error() routine generates corresponding external FoxPro error from internal error code. External error 11 is 'Invalid function argument or count is invalid', whereas internal error 11 is 'Area cannot contain handle'.
