Title:
Pound Sign in Column Name
I came across an instance where a database needs to have pound signs in column names. It's for Microsoft ISA server, which will let you log to any ODBC data source.... But only sources that can take a # in the column name, which seems to be every DSN except for VFP.
Should I ask for this to be a wish-list item for VFP8, or is there a workaround now? Or can the VFP MS guys beat on the ISA guys for (1) being dense enough to require ODBC over OLEDB and (2) being dense enough to put pound signs in a column name?
