I'm just starting to mess around with DTS in SQL Server (I have 2000, some customers may have SQL7). I was wondering which is the preferable method of saving a DTS package ... to the SQL Server or to a "structured storage file"? What are the pros and cons of both methods. Keep in mind that this is for more-or-less "shrink-wrapped" software, not in-house stuff.
