I use an incremental search combo with any query and refresh code in the lost focus event. The user only needs to type a few letters and tab or enter and the form's data is refreshed. Setting the system _DBLCLICK to a reasonable speed has been the only tweak necessary.

>Desired Outcome: I would like the InteractiveChange to fire after the user has entered a name in the combo (style 2), either by entering the last name from the keyboard or by scrolling down a long list of names in teh combo which is sorted alphobetically. Scrollign the list works, but is cumbersome to the user. I would like to allow them to type in a few characters of the name, after which the combo would position the cursor at the first occurence of the value typed.
