Perhaps it would help if you were more specific about what you want to do.

If you want another application to communicate with VFP in such a manner as to PASS TO VFP the name of a button for example, you would need the Visual Foxpro application to not only display the form, but also act as a LISTENER for possible MESSAGES from other applications.

Does this sound like what you are trying to do? There might be several ways in which another application might be able to communicate with a Visual Foxpro application but here's the catch:

The Visual Foxpro application must be designed in such a manner as to receive such communications.
