Kevin's class is probably as close as you're going to get right now.

You can take a look at the Web Service articles I've done at:

They actually talk quite a bit about Windows Forms and Data Binding (which is no different with data coming in on a Web Service or from a local source).

But also you might want to do some research on the security and versioning issues involved with WinForms applications that can cause problems for installing WinForms applications - especially shrink wrap type software. I've been very disappointed by the lack of documentation on this particular subject and the severity of the sandbox model that .NET imposes.

So for desktop apps, this is an important thing to consider.
