Thanks for this information. I hoped that this one is meaningless, but it is really stressing <g>.

Thats really good to hear because we just decided to do all external things over SOS.
>BTW: you will find, I think, a small performance gain by upgrading your VSS to the one that comes with VSS .NET (VSS version 6.0c). Also, the latest version of the SOS client/server (came out a couple of weeks ago) provides more than a small gain in speed.

I'll check this one out. Have got the newest SOS, but I am not shure about hte newest VSS 6.0c on server.
