I have a Network Application that is occasionally bombing with a message stating "UNABLE TO WRITE TO A READ ONLY FILE"

I save the status to the error log when this occurs and found a very interesting problem - Here is what it shows


Select area: 44, Table in Use: G:\DATA\FILE1.DBF (Readonly) Alias: FILE1
Code page: 0
Lock(s): Exclusive USE

It shows as read only yet it is locked exclusively. This is not a consistant problem - most of the time the file opens normally
