>CURSORGETPROP('UpdateNameList') returns all fields of a view

Actually, not quite -- it only returns fields where the back end field name doesn't match the front end field name. You can see this if you query against SQL Server's pubs and Northwind databases -- the pubs fields don't show up in UpdateNameList, but the Northwind fields do.

Or at least, the mixed case ones do. Want to take a guess at how long it took to figure out this was the issue? :-)

(Caveat -- no SQL Server on this machine to double-check the above.)
