>I hope someone can help me. I do not want to use WORD to print a form with data from a VFP 3.0 Table. WORD may or may not exist on the destination Server. I'd like to be able to use the WORD form in VFP Report. I've tried to create a table of Forms using a GENERAL field type as the form itself, but when I use the field in the report designer the field is displayed as a placeholder and I cannot see the form to place the fields from another table correctly. If embed the form from a file into the Report designer, I can see it, but I was only able to use a BMP file. I have not been able to create a BMP file from the Word Document with good enough resolution. The form is quite complex and many of the text fields are 8pt Arial. Will VFP 5.0 allow me to embed a word document in a report?

Unless you find an OCX that will let you access the Word document, I think you are hosed.. Maybe you can look at an RTF OCX that will do the same thing for you??

If you want to build reports in a file that word can read, maybe you should look at FoxWord, it builds RTF style files from report form output..

Thanx!
