The utility I mentioned previously will show files you deleted in one of the folders, but you can control individually which files you want to synchronize, and which you want to delete.

I'd like to have this control automatic! Briefcase has it, but like I said, it's too slowly when I try open a folder in Windows Explorer, for example.

The program that I've tested (ACDS) has this control too, but you have to choose what files/folders you want to copy / delete.
