James mentioned setting LockScreen to .T., but since the Treeview is actually its own window, LockScreen won't have any affect. You might try the technique that I documented in the VFUG Newsletter article, "Smoother Refreshes with the TreeView and ListView Controls", June, 2000. It's available on-line at
