Hi Mike,

And here I thought we were finished... <g>

>>>Here's the thing, no matter what I do I won't look back at any moment of my life and say "Boy, if I had done something else instead, I'd be a much better person". I have nothing to sastify. I have no deity.
>>Well, I find that interesting and amazing at the same time I suppose..

>How so? People take it differently of course.

Gosh.. That's probably a question more suited to our eventual F2F but I'll give you a 'Cliff's Notes' response if that's ok..

I find this interesting as having gone through a little bit of life and looking back over the years I can see plenty of things I've done that I can now see that I could have done far better. Amazing would come from either the notion that ou could be that wise at your point in life or that foolish I guess... Or a mix of both.

>
>Some people would think that I'm suicidal, filled with despair, blah blah blah because I don't have any thing "sacred" in my life. Others realize you can simply be "along for the ride" doing whatever you see fit, whenever you see fit enjoying everything life has to offer.

Hmm Well, I wouldn't ascribe those characteristics to you but I can also see why some might presume them. BTW.. I don't have any problems with the concept of enjoying life. I just define mine differently I suppose...

>
>Now, you may think this is some self serving, hedonistic point of view, but let me rest on what you've claimed here, with freedom comes responsibility. I may give mymelf what some may call ultimate freedom, but I think I take on the levels of responsibility it requires. Trust me, alot of thought goes into "what I see fit".

I applaud the notion that you recognize that the two are really flip sides of the same coin (to use an analogy). You cannot have one without the other IMO.

The difference here is that 'final authority' as to how you and I define "what I see fit".

>
>I guess it all depends on how much responsibility you take on. If you can take lots, you can enjoy more freedom.

Indeed. No argument here whatsoever...

>
>Think about it. It may change your life.

*chuckle*

Ok Mike.. I'll do that. <g>
Best,
