1. Is this a VFP 7 free table or from a previous version of FoxPro?
2. What occurs when the user selects "Revert"?

There is a known Oracle varchar type error that relates to this but this does not sound like that animal. :)

Perhaps I have missed something, but I thought that this error would occur only if buffering was used. I tell them to click on 'revert' and so far there has been no damage. Would someone set me straight about buffering and update conflicts. Thanks.
