I will give this some thought. Would you use the writeExpression method to do this?

You could create a table to hold various properties in memo fields, memos can hold arrays ( save memory...) you could also preserve these settings to text files like INI or XML. You can also preserve settings to the registry. Any of these methods would be better than the FoxUser file. Using your own repository you can make your own rules as to how to organize users and settings. Often the Foxuser file gets corrupted and when it does you need to destroy it, you would likely not have as many problems with another repository such as text or registry. JMO
