This message has been marked as the solution to the initial question of the thread.
>Does anyone have any experience "live updating tools" and VFP? These are utilities which let your users check your web site for the latest edition of your app and then automatically download and apply any update that it finds there. They can be triggered by a command button () or even run on a timer to ensure that the user always has the latest version of your app without having to go through a manual updating process.

Bob,

You might want to get your hands at a Doug Hennig article in Foxtalk about this subject (www.pinnaclepublishing.com/ft). You should be able to get it for a small nominal fee.

Give also a look at Wise Installer 9.0 (www.wisesolutions.com). Excellent installer, they have a VFP7.0 script and you could use their webudate feature.
