Sergey, I just deploy in VFP7 and try to find cense
>Why would you want to do that?

The code of the procedures is visible in the database container, so it does not provide security
Bu we can do compile database, open database like table, make codesource being blank
nk, now we can implement securiti wriite in database
container on the forms calling database
events there, when it is required
For example we can enable or desable menu items, buttons for new record or delete record
d
I don't like interface, when you see enabled button, click it and see the message,
it was not allowed to do. This is lack of admiration to the user
When I participated in VFP/Oracle project we were forced by task order to implement
Oracle security-access to tables, functions , procedures. If you dont have accesss to table in Oracle,
and makes sqlselect to this table, it will cause error
So, when we do any VFP forms and have some security, we need to desable some buttons or
desable just running of the form, if main tables are not allowed for current user by security.
If I can scan VFP database for security procedures, I shall be able to get similar interface
