It looks like the example that comes with VFP7 (at C:\Program Files\microsoft visual foxpro 7\Samples\Com+\QC) is busted. When I followed the basic install instructions, my component does not have the Ipizza interface ( in line item 6 in the readme.htm).

Do you have any simplified example of a VFP7 COM object living inside/as a queued component?
