No, I don't.
If you have a timestamp field in your tables, you could probably issue another query to see what records have changed (by comparing timestamp and time that you last requeried) and that will probably take less time. However, this will probably be more complex than what you need and I am not even sure about how much benefit it will give you. Your call.
