Hi,

We have two development licenses for SQL Server 2000 with the respective client tools (these came with VS.NET). We also have six licenses for MSDE 7.0 with the corresponding client tools (these came with VFP 6.0 and VS 6.0).

We have tried to access one version of the database with the client tools for the other version but haven't been able to do it in either direction. Can it be done at all? How do we stay true to the licenses while spending the least? :)
