At least that's what I was hoping to do with it. I have been looking at the AddIf and the AddPicture, but I haven't been able to figure out how to combine them. The documentation I have found goes back to having the pic in the database not just an external file(for use with the AddIf).

Sorry for misreading your original. I just didn't see that it was already AddIf.

IAC, looking at the VBA Help, it appears that the insertions it supports here are text, not other objects.

You may want to ask in a Word support site about how to combine pictures with {IF} fields. Check the list at www.mvps.org for places to get help with Word.
