That's what comes of incompletely specifying your requirements, if you state accurately & completely what you want, then you are more likely to get solutions that are to your liking.

It's something I have become very wary of in this business, too often in the past have I come across clients asking for a piece of s/w, or a mod to s/w, to do something & when delivered, getting the answer "well yes it does what I want, but it doesn't do it in the way I wanted" & rejecting the solution.
